Our campaign this month is focused on tyre safety. Did you know you can (and should) check your tyres regularly yourself.
Young and soon to be drivers will hear first hand real life stories from Lancashire’s emergency services about the real life consequences of risk taking on the roads. Delivered across Lancashire as part of the Wasted Lives Young Driver Education Programme.
Are You On The Right Track?
The Right Track campaign aims to raise awareness amongst motorcyclists specifically about their riding skills including road positioning. Motorcyclists are particularly vulnerable and we encourage all road users to undertake training that will potentially improve their knowledge and skills.
Drive Safely for Longer
In partnership with Lancashire Constabulary we are delighted to offer a course specifically tailored to drivers over 65 years old who are resident in Lancashire.
The course is designed to give drivers confidence in their skills and fine tune some aspects of their driving that may have changed over the years, as well as refresh some aspects of the law and the Highway Code.
Let’s Look Out for Each Other
The campaign encourages pedestrians, drivers and riders to all look out for each other and offers advice and tips on how to stay safe, visible and alert on the roads.
You can find resources for this in our Resource Hub
We work together with our partners throughout the year to run a number of specific campaigns. You can find out about some of these here.
