Lancashire’s multi-faith service, to be attended by families and friends, and representatives from the police, fire & rescue and ambulance services and local authorities, will be held from 12:00 to 13:30pm on Sunday 19th November 2023 in the Assembly Hall at County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 8RL.
The World Day of Remembrance Service was started in 1993 by UK-based charity RoadPeace. This service is one of thousands being held across the globe to support the families and friends of people killed on the roads, and honours the work of the emergency services. RoadPeace is dedicated to supporting people bereaved and injured in road traffic collisions.
Attendees are invited to lay flowers in memory of loved ones if they wish.
